From our offices at 51 Brown Street, Manchester, M2 2JC, we provide expert hands on advice and assistance to Manchester or North West companies, partnerships, LLP’s or soletraders.  Do you need insolvency advice for your Manchester company?

Wayne is a licensed insolvency practitioner who is regulated and licensed by the IPA. He has over 20 year's insolvency experience and runs our Manchester office. He has extensive experience of corporate and personal insolvency, which culminated in him being appointed by the IPA to oversee the regulation of insolvency practitioners. He joined the IPA in 2003 where he was part of the team that developed and implemented its "Better Regulation Framework" and he managed its regulatory operations for three years before making the decision to return to insolvency practice with KSA Group in 2009.   Wayne is supported by Adrian Ohio who is our regional manager covering Manchester.

We are a national firm of turnaround and insolvency experts who can help your Manchester or North West company today. Whether you need to rescue the business with a company voluntary arrangement, liquidate your company or use a pre-pack administration, we can help.

This web site has over 1000 pages of detailed, quality information in plain English, what’s more it’s FREE and easy to use.

If in the first place you would like professional advice on your company’s problems please over the phone, use our free number 0800 9700539 or you can call Adrian direct on 07546 304695

Of course, if you prefer you can send an email to us on

Once we have established whether we can assist you, we are happy to meet with the board either by video call or in person if you want Covid permitting. This is then usually followed by a written report on the options available to your company.

Manchester and the North West has been traditionally an area where many businesses and individuals have suffered financial distress.  In the past, this has been due to declining industries and market changes.  More recently, the area has become a thriving and innovative business centre, in fact the largest outside the South East.  This has meant that businesses are constantly reinventing themselves and this coupled with intense competition results in the need for some businesses to restructure to survive.

Want to liquidate your Manchester company?

If the company cannot be saved, and you do not believe that a 3-5 year extension on your debts is affordable, via a CVA, then we can conduct a quick and professional liquidation.  It is important to act if you believe that your company is insolvent.  Failure to act can leave you exposed to personal financial risk.  As above, you can call Eric direct and he can explain the process.  Once you appoint us, we can stop creditor pressure and put the company into liquidation in 4 weeks.  After the creditors meeting we take over and your duties as a director cease.

How much does liquidation cost?

The total costs do rather depend on the amount of work involved.  Obviously, the more creditors there are and the more complicated the picture in terms of loans, property, company structure etc then the cost will be higher but for a simple liquidation with 1 or 2 creditors start at £4000 + VAT
