Manchester-based Zaven Media has gone into creditors voluntary liquidation (CVL) after failing to break even in turnover.

Backed by TV Dragon’s Den Deborah Meaden in 2015, the company created free-standing photo booths for people to pose and share their own photos on social media instantly, paying with contactless card. Zaven Media launched in 2013.

Alan Coleman from Royce Peeling Green was appointed liquidator to the company. Despite the business doing fairly well in the first few years, it has struggled to “make the turnover required to break even”, commented Coleman.
