Fans feared the club’s time was over after Bury FC faced its second winding up petition in three months.
However Chairman, Stewart Day, has stressed HMRC has now been paid and the petition was dismissed at court.
While the club has been struggling with cash flow in the last few months, Day has assured there is nothing to worry about. Together with restructuring plans and investment, Day hopes the club can eventually be taken to the next level but admits there is still some way to go yet.
Day said, “That is something we are learning about and I’m sure, with the plans we have put in place for the next few months, hopefully that will allow us to grow the business and move even further forward.”
