The Dunne Group has called in the administrators, resulting in the immediate loss of 524 jobs. The reason behind its failure was due to trading losses on contracts and poor cash flow.

Founded in 2001, the Bathgate-based company provides a variety of construction, civil engineering, building and infrastructure services across sites in Scotland, Ireland and London. Some of its high-profile projects included One Blackfriars and 100 Bishopsgate.

FRP Advisory have been appointed as administrators to the Group (The Dunne Group Ltd) and its five subsidiaries including, Dunne Developments Ltd, CLR Plant Hire Ltd, Dunne Concrete Flooring, Dunne Building and Civil Engineering Ltd and Conforce Ltd.

Joint administrator, commented, “This is a sad loss for the construction and building industry.”

“Our priority is to work closely with all agencies and services to ensure employees receive every support and assistance at this very difficult time.”

16 employees will be kept on to assist with the administration process and realisation of the business assets.

We are not involved in the administration and questions should be directed to FRP who are handling the administration.
