Little Black Dress, the online womenswear retailer is said to of gone through a change of ownership after being acquired by private investment firm, Fashion Ventures Limited in a pre-pack administration deal.
As a part of the deal, the team of six which run the retailer will remain.
Since 8 April 2020, the retailers site has been closed short term as part of the safety measures advised due to the coronavirus pandemic.
First launched in 2014, Little Black Dress has achieved sales of over £13 million. It fell into trouble in March when an additional round of fundraising for the business fell through, due to lockdown.
Mark Evans, CEO told Drapers that ‘’the new owners expect to have the site operational again by mid-summer to coincide with the reopening of the hospitality industry.’’
