The Huddersfield-based plumbing business has called in the administrators, resulting in the loss of 110 jobs. Having struggled to pay off historic taxes to HMRC as well as suffering from cash flow, the company could no longer continue.
Joint administrators from KPMG have kept on 17 employees to assist with the process while they look to sell the assets. This includes a fleet of vehicles and contracts worth £11 million that have yet to be started.
The company – which specialises in installing bathrooms, kitchens and central heating – made a pre-tax loss of £798,505 for the year.
If you are an employee of the business, please listen to the video below as it will tell you your rights as an employee of an insolvent business. There is a link at the end of the video to the Government website which expands further on what you need to know.
We are not involved in the administration and questions should be directed to KPMG who are handling the administration.
