Wright & Bell, who own the Kitty Hawk and Lino London-based restaurants, has entered administration.
Quantuma have been appointed as administrators following a difficult year, down to the unprecedented Coronavirus pandemic which had the restaurants closed since March 2020. The financial impact left on both restaurants from COVID-19 was significant.
Sarah Clarke, managing director, shared that the firm hoped a new agreement would be reached with creditors but in reality, it was not possible, leaving no other choice but to appoint administrators.
Lino will continue trading in the coming months to allow time to realise its potential.
Kitty Hawk launched first, in 2016, is located at River Plate House in South Place, London. Success here led to the opening of Lino in 2018, in the Square Mile.
Note that Wright & Bell Limited has confirmed this administration does not impact any of the other companies the operator owns i.e. Green Room, Marsha and Whyte & Brown.
