International Villas has ceased trading

4 August 2015

The Essex-based company has stopped trading, leaving many families in the lurch before they are due to set off on holiday, with some already stranded abroad. It’s been reported International Villas currently has 50 properties on their books.

The firm rents out holiday homes on Spanish islands, including Ibiza and Mallorca to holidaymakers. On Thursday last week, liquidators were appointed from Sharma & Co after the company ceased trading. However, the situation has changed since – they are now preparing a ‘rescue package’ which could potentially be a CVA or a sale of the business.

If you have been affected, queries should be directed to Hilary Gumbs at Sharma & Co on 0044 121 454 2700 or email Hilary@sharmaandco.com.

Update 06/08/2015 - Sharma & Co has confirmed International Villas has unfortunately gone into liquidation as no rescue package has been found. The creditors meeting is on 25th August.
