Has Albermarle and Bond Gone Into Administration?

The BBC has reported that it seems all the shops have closed and no one is answering any phones.   What is happening is unusual to say the least.  Normally if the business goes into administration or liquidation then a notice is posted and the insolvency practitioners organise a wind down.  However it appears that the company does not have security against it so no bank or lender could force an administration on them.

This is a worrying time especially if customers have offered valuables as security for a loan and they may worry that it will be lost.    The company has said that property is being transferred
