GHA Coaches enters administration

14 July 2016

Kids getting to school in Wrexham and the surrounding area will find it a lot more difficult as GHA Coaches has gone into administration. The coach firm has stopped running and will no longer be taking passengers.
Other coach companies have stepped in to ensure kids can get to their local schools.  A statement on the Wrexham Facebook page has outlined how they intend on handling the situation.

GHA coaches employed over 400 people and was one of the largest, independently owned, coach companies in the UK with 230 vehicles operating from six depots. The company served across the Wrexham area, out to Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd, and also across into England, around Cheshire, Shropshire and Manchester.

320 staff have now been made redundant as the business has ceased trading with "immediate effect".
