It was not too long ago that Danish Airline Primera collapsed, now it is Cypriot budget airline, Cobalt's turn.
A website statement was published on Wednesday evening, stating how all future flights would no longer operate due to an ''indefinite suspension of Colbalt's operations''.
Passengers are advised to not go to the airport, but to contact their travel agent or credit provider instead. Alternative arrangements are believed to be made.
The carrier airline operated flights into and out of Cyprus since 2016, flying to 23 destinations (including Heathrow, Gatwick, Stanstead and Manchester). Recently, a business class and frequent flyer programme was added.
200 staff are employed.
It is believed that the airline had failed to reach a deal with a potential new investor.
