Bradford Bulls go into liquidation

3 January 2017

A deal to sell the struggling club fell through yesterday evening, resulting in the administrators putting the company into liquidation.

PBC Recovery has attempted to find a suitable buyer for the company since it went into administration last November, however with the latest deal falling through, there was no other option but to place the club into liquidation. The club had been in administration three times over the last four years.

Players and staff were told today at the Odsal Stadium. Bradford South Labour MP, Judith Cummins, has asked for an investigation into the club’s situation, demanding action is taken to protect the club and its players. She is currently in discussions with the Rugby Football League and reports suggest talks are already underway to reform the club for the new season.
