BetterBathrooms Have Gone Into Administration

BetterBathrooms, the greater Manchester Headquartered retail firm, has ceased trading taking immediate effect.

The challenge of being in the UK retail industry has hit. Severe cash flow difficulties and an extended period of poor trading are said to be the causes.

With no significant investment or cash to allow trading to continue, no other choice was left. 100 staff were laid off, with their 13 showrooms and two trade counters forced to shut.

Phillip Pierce and Gary Blackburn from FRP Advisory were appointed administrators.  They will be working along the affected staff, using the Redundancy Payments Service to help to support their claims. Not only was it employees that were affected- customers also have been hit. They was left to take to social media, complaining of their dissatisfaction of calls going through to answerphone and deliveries failing to arrive.
