Leading manufacturer, Pulse Flexible Packaging Ltd, goes into administration
04-Apr-2017Based in Bury and Essex, the packaging manufacturer has called in the administrators, putting 350 jobs at risk. Production has ceased and all employees have been sent home, although no redundancies have yet been made.
Howard Smith and Jonny Marston from KPMG have been appointed joint administrators to the company and are assessing the situation to see if trading can continue. Due to operational changes within the business, the company has struggled with cash flow and new funding issues.
Marston commented, “We are currently assessing whether we can continue to trade the business while we seek a buyer, and would encourage any interested parties to contact the joint administrators as soon as possible.”
The manufacturer produces packaging, including sealable pouches, for the food and drink industry selling products to a number of national retailers.
